Gerwyn WiliamsGerwyn Wiliams is Professor at Bangor University. He has served as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Deputy Head of the College of Arts and Humanities and Deputy Director of the School for Welsh Medium Studies. He was awarded a Personal Chair in 2005 and acted as Head of the School of Welsh between 2006 and 2009.

He was awarded the National Eisteddfod Crown in 1994 and won the book of the Year competition in 1997.
