A Symphony of Voices.
Please note: The stage 1 deadline has now passed and we are assessing the applications.
Any further updates will be posted here. In the meantime you can visit the Dylan Thomas 100 website at www.dt100.info.
In 2014 we’re celebrating the centenary of the birth of Dylan Thomas in Swansea.
To celebrate this unique event, the Welsh Government, Arts Council of Wales, Carmarthenshire County Council and the City & County of Swansea are leading Dylan Thomas 100 – a year-long celebration of Dylan Thomas’ life, his work and his legacy.
The programme of events – large and small, international and local – will highlight the artistic, cultural, educational and commercial opportunities that such a unique celebration can offer. We’re looking for activity that enthuses people in Wales and beyond, that brings new visitors to Wales, and which has an impact that leaves a fitting legacy for the longer term.
If you’d like to bid for inclusion in the Dylan Thomas 100 programme of events, this Funding Information Pack explains what you should do, including how to check that your organisation is eligible to apply.

As a first step – and certainly before you submit any proposals – we’d strongly urge you to make sure that you’re familiar with the vision and objectives that we’ve established for Dylan Thomas 100.
Earlier in the year we commissioned Parthian (in association with Tinderbox Arts Consultants) to add substance and shape to this vision. You can find the executive summary of their report by visiting www.dt100.info and clicking on Resources.
