Funding Advice and Guidelines

Arts Council of Wales has revised its funding schemes; the most up-to-date versions are available in this section.

Our funding schemes offer opportunities for arts organisations and individuals in Wales to apply, through a competitive application process, for funding towards a clearly defined arts-related project.

The guidance notes presented in this section should give all the relevant information needed to make an application. Please read these carefully before you talk to one of our officers or fill in an application for funding. We also encourage you to read our Corporate and Regional Plans, and our Artform Strategies, which can be especially helpful.

These guidance notes will explain:

• what types of grants are available
• whether an applicant is eligible for funding
• our priorities

We offer this advice in specific guidelines for organisations and individuals.
