Arts Council of Wales currently funds 70 organisations on an annual basis.
What are RFOs?
Revenue Funded Organisations (RFOs), are those clients in receipt of recurrent grants, awarded on an annual basis, towards their core activities.
The Arts Council of Wales’s investment in RFOs is one of the key means by which we aim to achieve a dynamic and creative arts sector and to deliver the strategic priorities outlined in our Corporate Plan and agreed with the Welsh Government.
Our Policy for Managing our Portfolio of Revenue Funded Organisations outlines the processes we have adopted to achieve those strategic aims.
Investment Review
In June 2010, Arts Council of Wales made ‘in principle’ decisions about the new portfolio of revenue funded organisations (RFOs) that will be at the heart of our strategy to develop the arts in Wales.
To support our RFO's through a period of change, we have published Making the change: Transition Support for Revenue Funded Organisations.
